FAI will be presenting its “Principles of Rotating Equipment Workshop” Virtually.
The Workshop will be presented from 12PM – 4PM EST on each day of the two sessions. You will be taught by Instructors who have spent many years both designing and operating rotating equipment. The course focuses on the basics of design of the major components in pumps, compressors and steam turbines of all types and discusses the key parameters that need to be monitored in order to assure they are operating properly. All disciplines and experience levels are welcome!
The instructors will use their wealth of experience to discuss specific case histories to help explain the importance of monitoring certain parameters such as Performance, Vibration, Aux System components, etc.
William Forsthoffer and Michael Forsthoffer will be the instructors at a minimum and we may have some guest instructors for specific topics that arise during the workshop.
All attendees will receive a copy of the main text book (Electronic or Hard Copy) and a PDF of the supplementary text not included in the main text. Download the agenda
